Chocolate syrup for pancakes




Whether it’s for your Eggless Whole wheat Pancakes or your cupcakes, homemade chocolate syrup is the one of the favorite choice amongst everyone. This recipe is a crowd pleaser and it can be made ahead of time and refrigerated for upto 8-10 days. You can just drizzle the syrup over anything and enjoy.

Ingredients:

 1 cup sugar

2/3 cup Cocoa powder

1/2 cup water

1 tsp vanilla extract

In a sauce pan, mix sugar and water and bring it to a boil. 

Once the sugar is dissolved, sift cocoa powder into the pan and mix it well until well combined.

Bring it to a boil and let it simmer until the cocoa powder is cooked.

Add vanilla extract and mix well. Turn off the heat and let it cool completely. Drizzle this chocolate syrup over the pancakes, crepes, your favorite ice cream or any other dessert.
