Garlic Chutney | Dry chutney


This is a simple and easy chutney. It can be made ahead of time and can be stored at room temperature for two weeks. It goes well with parathas, rotis and is one of the main chutney for Vada Pav. It is also called as Sukhi Chutney.


Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Dry coconut chopped/grated
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 2 tsp oil


  1. Grind all the ingredients together in a grinder using a start-stop method.(Start-stop-start-stop.....). Go on until everything is well combined and evenly ground. This method will make the chutney fluffy. 
  2. Store it in a glass container and use it within 10 days. You can refrigerate if it needs to be stored for a longer period.
