Baked Zucchini Fries
Baked Zucchini fries are delicious, healthy and can be made easily. Zucchinis are found in the grocery stores all year around, so they can be made anytime of the year. They are healthy because they are not deep fried. They are crispy on the outside and soft of inside.
- Ingredients:2 large zucchini2/3 cup breadcrumbs3/4 cup All purpose flour
Water for making thin batter - 2 teaspoon Seasoning (I used Cajun)
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- Method:
- Assemble all your ingredients. Preheat oven to 400 F/200 C.
- Make a thin batter with all purpose flour and water.
- Clean and wash zucchini.Trim the top and end part of zucchini and cut them thinly into slices. Pat dry the zucchini slices with a paper towel.
- In a bowl, add breadcrumbs add salt, garlic powder, seasoning and mix till it everything is blended.
- Dip zucchini in batter. Toss the coated zucchini in breadcrumbs; till it is fully coated with breadcrumbs. Transfer it onto a baking sheet.
- All the coated zucchinis are ready to be baked. Place them in the heated oven and bake them for 20-25 minutes
