Idli fries


8 left over idlis cut into long pieces
1/2 tsp red chili powder
salt
1/2 tsp saarin pudi/Rasam powder/Curry Powder
Oil for frying

preparation:
1. Heat oil in a pan, fry idlis till light brown.
2. Sprinkle salt, red chilli powder n saarin pudi.
Serve with coriander chutni or tomato sauce.

You can also prepare Idli chaat without frying idlis.
1. Cut left over idlis into cubes.
2. Add red chili powder n sarin pudi. Serve

BTW, what is sarin pudi? If I compare with my mother tongue, it is curry powder? Right?.. :)

Hey, this is a great idea...and if I didn't eat up the regular idli's till I was stuffed I might get to try this ;)
